9 - Anime

                 At first I thought that anime is not a cartoon but the truth is, it is a kind of cartoon, a Japanese styled cartoon in fact. But those people who don't believe Anime is a cartoon is an obsessed weaboo , denying the fact that Anime is Cartoons. A Weeboo is an overly zealous anime fan, usually a newer or younger fan to anime who is very loud and excited about anime. These fans are the loud minority of fans that are very upfront and loud about anime in public - unlike the silent majority of anime fans.

                 I started to watch anime when my classmate introduced me in 2nd year of high school to Sword Art Online (SAO). The story of that anime is that the characters are trapped in a virtual world and if their avatars died in-game, their bodies will also die in the real world. If they wish to be free, there are 100 floors that they need to conquer and defeat the final boss. That anime really caught my attention because I was playing a game called DragonNest and they have some similarities. After watching Sword Art Online I started to watch the anime called One Piece. The crazy thing about this anime is it has over 600+ episodes and I'm already at 573. I had watched a lot of animes already examples are Shingeki no Kyojin, Death Note, Eyeshield21, Hitman Reborn, Tokyo Ghoul, FairyTail, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Fate/Stay Night, Schooldays, and many more.

                 Let me tell you this, anime teaches you things that are life changing (in a good way). It helps you to have a better sense of humor, well just like watching comedy shows, it subconsciously makes you more funny, witty, and interesting. Anime is rich in comedy content, so you’ll learn a lot of jokes, comebacks, and punch lines. You will also become creative, even though fictional, having a lot of experience, in different worlds, and settings will likely expand anyone’s creativity. You might not notice, but if you have been watching anime, it already affected your lifestyle, Anime also helps you to relieve from your stress. After a whole stressful day, watching anime will bring you away from the stress and problems of life.

8 - Anti-Smoking

APC'S ANTI SMOKING CAMPAIGN

I don't really like smoking, in fact everytime I smell the cigarette smoke my nose gets irritated and I will start sneezing non-stop.I think I started to get used from the smell of the cigarette smoke when my father keeps on smoking inside the house. Everytime when I saw him smoke, I'd tell him to stop but he just ignores me. I kept on telling him that a 1 stick of cigarette reduces his life by 11 minutes. I read that information on PMC free article, PubMed. By the way I'm not writing this blog to share the whole story of me and my father rather I'll tell you guys that I'm really happy that there was an Anti Smoking Campaign to where I'm studying right now which is in APC. 3 Reasons why you should quit smoking. 1. First thing is, smoking reduces your life span (just like what I said earlier). Time for me is the most important thing in life, you can't buy the time you will spend in this wondrous world. With time, you can make a lot of memories with your friends, family, your partner wife or husband, your crazy siblings, your classmates, your lovers, your teachers, your pets. 2. Second thing is, smoking is a leading cause of cancer and death from cancer. It causes cancers of the lung, esophagus, larynx, mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, liver, pancreas, stomach, cervix, colon, and rectum, as well as acute myeloid leukemia. 3. Third thing is smoking causes heart disease, stroke, aortic aneurysm (a balloon-like bulge in an artery in the chest), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (chronic bronchitis and emphysema), diabetes, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts, and worsens asthma symptoms in adults. Smokers are at higher risk of developing pneumonia, tuberculosis, and other airway infections I'm not forcing you to stop smoking but if you value your life and wanted to stay longer in this world, please quit smoking now.

7 - Why Dota2 Is better than LOL

MOBAS, multiplayer online battle arena games. Three lanes 10 players 1 big game of capture the castle, from the genres humble beginnings back in 1998 as a mod for starcraft, it has exploded for the past 6 years spotting a billion-dollar business and an avid e-sports following where millions of dollar are given away in cash and prizes every year, and all these games 2 reigns supreme. Dota2 and League of Legends. Each one has its own rabid fanbase and I'm here to prove that Dota2 is the superior game. Defense of the Ancients is the game that launched the genre, it started everything. To begin with dota is a more balanced fairer game. There are 3 things that will really convince you that dota2 is a lot better than League of Legends. First thing is in League of Legends you can't deny your creeps. Dota2 has the denying mechanic which many players like. Denying is when you kill a friendly creep when it is at low health in order to prevent an enemy player from killing it in order to gain gold. The idea is to deny many creeps from enemy heroes so that they are at a gold disadvantage because of all the potential gold they lost from having the creeps denied to them. I think that denying is really important for you to outplay your opponent and also to see who's better on last hitting. Second thing is when you play dota, all heroes are available and free to play. While in League of Gays or i mean League of Legends, new players can only choose from 10 champions every week. Well sure you can unlock new heroes but have fun leveling up to level 30. Plus, the level up system in League of Legends is stupid, just because you play more shouldn't mean you get perks that newer players don't. Third thing is the players. Most of dota2 players are matured and handsome while in LoL AHAHA nevermind. Lastly, the complexity of Dota makes the game more rewarding. It may be harder to learn, but that just means that you'll appreciate it even more once youy start getting the hang of it. IT can also help you be more patient when you get stuck with kind of noobish players on your team. We've all been that noob player before that just wants to crawl under a rock. We understand.

6 - Forum: Bayani Ba'To

In August 14, 2015 the Asia Pacific College professors  held a forum namely: Bayani Ba’To (Heroism for Millenials) They let us watch the trailer of Heneral Luna (Bayani or Sarili) which was a film by Jerrold Tarog, Screenplay by Henry Hunt Francia, E.A. Rocha, Jerrold Tarog. The film was produced by E.A. Rocha and the executive producer of the film is Fernando Ortigas. The films actors are John Arcilla, Arron Villaflor, Mon Confiado, Epy Quizon, Archie Alemania, Joem Bascon, Alex Medina, Art Acuna, Nonie Buencamino, Lorenz Martinez, Ketchup Eusebio. "Heneral Luna" is about the life of one of Philippine History's most brilliant military men,, General Antonio Luna, as he tries to lead his countrymen against colonial masters new and old, and to rise above their own raging disputes to fulfill the promise of the Philippine Revolution. I think the trailer was really good because it really caught my attention and as a result I wanted to finish the film on October. I also think that John Arcilla did really well in acting. He actually visit the said forum and was interviewed by the students. The speaker also mentioned our previous heroes Antonio Luna, Andres Bonifacio who was once a fishermen , Jose Rizal who had many girlfriends at his time. The speaker told us that we can do ten things for our country to be a modern day hero.

4 Participate! Be active when you can.
5 Let your voice be heard, while listening to others.
6 Be the best at whatever you do.

8 Choose good leaders: be a good leader yourself regardless of the situation.
9 Extend help to your countrymen whenever needed.
10 Know your history - love it, learn it, reflect on it.

What makes someone a hero in our generation today?

                Is it the simple and little things like giving someone a food, following the rules, paying taxes and throwing your bubble gums in the right bins? Heroism happens almost everyday, in any form and shape, and just like Heneral Luna, Dakila believes that you can capture the hero in each and every Juan in a minute.

4 - Dota 2 Roles

Carry - A carry  is a hero that starts off weak and then it gets stronger later in the game. Heroes that are exceptionally weak early in the game but exceptionally stronger later or also referred to Hard Carries. Carry heroes often rely on their teammates and friendly support heroes to keep them alive early in the game while they level up and collect gold for items. Unless you plan on winning the game early, your team should almost always have at least one carry by it's side

Disabler - A disabler is a hero that is good in hindering other enemy heroes. Heroes that are classified as disablers often have stuns, slow, silence. It's important to have 1 or 2 disablers on your team to make sure that team fights are easier by simply taking certain enemies out of the fight giving you and your team an unfair advantage.

Support - A support hero is a hero that does not rely heavily on gold and can spend most of their time helping their team rather than farming. Support heroes often find themselves purchasing cheap items rather than expensive ones. Purchasing wards to provide vision on to the map or buying and upgrading the courier to make sure their team has quick access to the shop. Certain support heroes that are exceptionally good at protecting hard carries or sometimes called "Babysitters" or lane support heroes.

Initiator - Initiator is a hero that is good at starting team fights. Initiator hero is typically have some sort of large area of effect stuns that helps your team enter a team fight. Getting the jump on your enemy is often the easiest way to win a fight quickly especially if your team is right behind you ready to back you up. This makes initiator extremely important especially later on the game when winning a large team fight often means winning the game.

Jungler - Jungler is a hero that does not need to take a lane at level 1. They are capable of killing the neutral creeps in the jungle. Junglers typically have some sort of ability which allows them to kill neutral creeps such as summoning skill, area of effect damage, or lifesteal.

Ganker - Ganker is a hero that specializes in killing other enemy heroes earlier the game Gankers would move across the map setting up kills or ganks on enemy heroes to help their team boost their experience experience and gold. Ganking heroes often have burst damage or easy to land stuns which allows them to get a kill relatively easy early in the game.

3 - 3 Places I Would Like To Visit Before I Die

1. The Great Wall Of China
                     The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders of the world. It was built mainly to protect the Chinese Empire from northern invaders. I could already imagine myself walking in its winding path over rugged country and the steep mountains takes in some great scenery. The most powerful advertising words in history come from the mouth of Chairman Mao: "Until you reach the Great Wall, You're no hero." That was the goal of some millions people.

2. Iguazo Falls in Argentina

                       They say, "Iguazu Falls offers a misty and majestic realm of rushing, roaring water with rainbows adorning the cascades, which stretch for nearly two miles." I really wanted to see in real life the Devil's Throat that they say. According to ancient myths, a jealous God slashed the Iguazu River in two, creating falls as high as 269 feet.

3.Paris - France

                     Most people say that Paris is Europe's most fantastic city, a place that has everything for traveler. You can visit Paris anytime you want, it is a city that has it all. Museums, shops, fantastic historic monuments, theatres, a beautiful riverscape. One of their best tourist spot is the Eiffel Tower. It attracts some 7 million visitors every year and over the decades has become one of the country's most important monuments. I wish I could live here, It's like a magical place. 

2 - Dota 2 Leaderboards PLEASE!

                Dota 2 have two teams: the Radiant and the Dire. Players on the Radiant team are based at the southwest corner of the map, and those on the Scourge team are based at the northeast corner. Each base is defended by towers and waves of units which guard the main paths leading to their base. In order to win the game either of the teams must destroy the ancient of radiant or dire.

                Playing Dota 2 with friends makes me happy but when I'm playing with random people I always get mad. Most especially when I'm already losing for 6-7 straight games and my teammate is always fighting from the start of the game till the end. Every game there's this peenoise who thinks he's really good on playing but he's always the reason why I lose ranked games. It gets me f****** really mad, so MAD that I want to SMASH my keyboard. This is why I hate playing solo games, public or ranked games. I have this one goal and I almost achieve it. I'm one win away on achieving it. I played solo queue and I tried really hard because that game will decide if my name will be included on top 200 Dota 2 Leaderboards in Southeast Asia. I lost that game even though I tried so hard and I used my favorite hero. I'm really disappointed to my performance that game. I guess it wasn't the right time for me to be on the Leaderboards. My friend told me,"Good game well played! Relax, you're doing fine" I just laughed because it was really my fault that we lost that game.

1 - Missing Those Memories

              Don't you miss those good old times when you only think of playing with friends and having fun? I really miss my childhood memories. The time where you don't really care at all, free from stress and anxiety. I can still recall the games that we played like Patintero, Tumbang Preso,Bente Uno, Luksong Tinik, Piko, Sipa, Taguan, Langit Lupa, Teks, Saranggola and many more. My favorite childhood game was called "Bang Sak", it was just like hide and seek where the players run to hide but the taya holds the gun (bang) while other players holds the knife (sak). The taya hunts for the other players and when he sees them he will say BANG! and only the brave player who is capable enough to approach the taya without being noticed can end the game.

              I also miss my childhood friends Diego, Clyde, Nico, Pamela, CJ , JC, Robin, Brian, Ace. They would come in front of our house and will shout my name,"Tyrooone ?Oi Tyrone!". That's how they call me everyday, crazy isn't it? I can still remember the time when I won a shoe box full of teks, my friend Clyde cried and went home when he lost to me. I keep on laughing that time and while he's running home he shouted that he will tell his mom and I got scared. So I followed him and returned his shoe box full of teks to him. Hahahaha, I can still remember his teary eyes and I started calling him the next day as iyakin which means crybaby. He got pissed on me and never talked to me since then.

              I'm just really happy that I met those people in my life. We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.
